Feasibility of yoga as a complementary therapy for patients with type 2 diabetes: the Healthy Active and in Control (HA1C) study

The HA1C study led by Beth Bock and colleagues from Centers for Behavioral and Preventive Medicine, The Miriam Hospital, Alpert Medical School of Brown University explored whether a structured Iyengar yoga program was practical and acceptable for adults with type 2 diabetes and whether the practice might influence blood glucose, self-care, mindfulness, and emotional well-being.
